Trapped underwater, I find it hard to see
Whatever it is that lies in front of me
Every movement I make is a struggle
Blinded by the light, distorted by bubbles.
Engulfed by waves of dark emotions
I am a lonely soul in this deep, vast ocean
I’ve combed the abyss, been through it all
In a desperate need of your love ‘fore I fall.
A long way from home, sweet home
No place on this earth to call my own
Holding on to the thread of the rope
On the verge of losing faith and hope.
But there is an anchor on my shoulders
Its weight is as heavy as large boulders
I am losing control of my body and mind
As I sink deeper & deeper and out of sight.
